TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Makeway Studio website and any purchase you make from us. By visiting the website, creating an account, joining the email list, or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About Makeway Studio
Makeway Studio is an independent clothing and lifestyle brand. References to “Makeway Studio,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of this website. References to “you” and “your” mean the customer or website visitor.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login information secure and for activity performed through your account. Information you provide must be accurate and current.
3. Product information and availability
We work to display product names, descriptions, colors, sizing, photographs, prices, and availability accurately. Screen settings and lighting may cause colors to appear differently. Garments may have minor variations that do not affect normal use. Products, sizes, quantities, and release dates may change or sell out without notice.
4. Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges and applicable taxes will be shown before an order is submitted. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store complete payment-card numbers on our website. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge the amount shown at checkout.
5. Orders and acceptance
An order confirmation means we received your request; it does not guarantee acceptance. We may refuse or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing or product errors, payment failure, stock issues, purchase-limit violations, or other legitimate business reasons. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled items.
6. Shipping and delivery
Available shipping methods, costs, and estimated delivery windows will be shown at checkout. Processing and delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur because of carriers, weather, address problems, holidays, customs, or events outside our control. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for any customs charges imposed by the destination country.
7. Cancellations, returns, and refunds
Our current Shipping and Returns information is part of these terms. Return eligibility, required condition, time limits, exclusions, and refund methods will be stated on that page before purchases open. Items showing wear, washing, damage, odors, missing tags, or other signs that they are not in original condition may be ineligible. Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless required by law or the order was incorrect because of our error.
8. Promotions and discount codes
Promotions may have separate rules, expiration dates, item restrictions, and redemption limits. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, or applied after an order is completed. We may end or correct a promotion when permitted by law.
9. Acceptable website use
You may not misuse the website, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, scrape the website in a harmful manner, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the website for unlawful activity. Automated purchasing intended to bypass product limits is prohibited.

The Makeway Studio name, logos, product artwork, photographs, graphics, website design, text, and other brand materials are owned by or licensed to Makeway Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, sell, modify, distribute, or use these materials commercially without written permission.

The website may rely on or link to services operated by other companies, including payment, hosting, analytics, email, and shipping providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. Makeway Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses or claims resulting from your unlawful misuse of the website, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Wisconsin and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live remain in effect.

We may update these terms as the store, laws, or services change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
